Decades later, Rudy Robaina (his son) followed suit racing road bicycles professionally in Europe for Abn-Amro. Continuing family tradition Rudy brought in his “Uncle Mario’ his biological uncle to the staff. Uncle Mario started out as a bike messenger in New York, to later go on and raise money towards Multiple Sclerosis and completed the MS 150 to the keys several times.
Now shifting attention to Triathlons, Rudy has began train for the world triathlon sprint Championships 2014.
